The company is running a promotion at the moment that new members get £5 credit when they register using someone's promotional code. This can be used against any gift vouchers on sale within their marketplace. Please beware that some people are still sharing old information stating that the amount is £10 but this was recently reduced to £5.
DOWNLOADING THE APP!
If you are using an Iphone the app can be downloaded by going to the Itunes store and search Zeek or clicking here.
If you are using an android phone the app can be downloaded by going to the Google Play store and searching Zeek or clicking here.
REGISTERING!
Once the app is downloaded and you open the app you will be met with a screen like this showing a list of the hottest vouchers on offer at that moment.
The company logo is listed on the left, the face value of the voucher next, followed by the price you will pay for the voucher and in the corner a little tab letting you know what percentage discount you would be saving on the face value if you purchased that voucher.
To register or log in you need to click on the small menu in the top left corner which is indicated by three short white lines. Once you click that a menu will open onto the main page which resembles
this.
I felt this part was the least clear section in the sign up but you need to click on the Zeek logo at the top of the page next to the little cog. When you do this you will be presented with the following pop up page.
To use Zeek you need to register, you can do this with existing social media accounts, Twitter, Facebook or Google+, alternatively you can choose to simply sign up with your email address and create a password.
If you choose to register with one of your social media accounts you simply click on the logo and follow the simple instructions to allow the app to access your information. The app needs to do this in order to create your account.
VERIFYING YOUR ACCOUNT!
Next you need to verify your account, to do this you will be presented with a screen asking you to enter your mobile phone number. You need to do this and then click "send". Zeek will then text you a code to enter onto your screen to verify your app.
APPLYING PROMO CODE FOR £5 FREE CREDIT!
You should now be logged in but you need to enter your promotional code so that you get your free £5 credit. To do this you need to click on the three white lines to take you back to the menu, on the menu you will see a link called promo codes.
Click this and you will be sent to a screen asking you to enter your promo code and a large yellow submit button. Click into the box in the middle of the screen and enter the code 2RCFJT and press submit.
The screen should look like this.
Once you press submit you should see a pop up telling you that you have £5 credit on your account appear under the submit button. You now have £5 credit on your account to spend towards any vouchers you want to purchase.
CHOOSING A VOUCHER!
To buy a voucher you can search for a voucher you would like in a number of ways. If you have a specific brand in mind you can simply click on the search icon located in the top right corner of the screen and start typing the name in the search box. As you do so the app will make suitable suggestions, if yours appears in the suggestions you can click on the word to bring up all vouchers by this brand.
If you are wanting to look for a bargain you can choose the largest discount link which is the third link down and this will then open a screen which shows all the vouchers that have the largest percentage discount that are currently available for sale. To scan these simply swipe down and more will load, the percentage discount decreases as you move down the list.
There is also an option to view the newest listed vouchers to the site. I have not really found much use for this option but it is located on the same menu as the largest discount one and once clicked will show a list similar to the largest discounts page but showing the newest vouchers.
BUYING A VOUCHER!
Once you have decided on a voucher to purchase you simply need to click on the voucher link and you will get a pop up screen giving you all the information about the voucher such as format, cost, face value, discount. If you have promotional credit this will be deducted from your cost and displayed here. Please note that if you have more credit than the face value you will still need to pay a minimum of £1 cash to purchase the voucher. Any left over credit will still be left on your account for future purchases.
To buy simply click the large red purchase button and you will then be prompted to enter a payment method. The app takes various debit and credit cards or Paypal.
Once you have done this you maybe prompted for delivery details, this is so if you have purchased a physical voucher they can send this to you via the mail.
Vouchers are posted via signed delivery and come in a cute little card wallet with the Zeek logo on.
Once you have purchased the voucher you should get a pop up letting you know your purchase has been successful and take you to an area where all your purchased gift cards are listed.
If your voucher is electronic you should receive the information regarding the voucher immediately on your screen.
You will also receive emails letting you know you have purchased a voucher and if it is a paper voucher when your voucher has been posted.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!
I have fallen in love with this app, I have bought a lot of vouchers and I am loving the discounts. I have bought both electronic and physical vouchers and have had no problems with any of them, all have worked and arrived as described.
I can not imagine life without the app now, before I buy anything I look at my app to see if there is a voucher and order one if there is. It is saving me a fortune!
I have had to contact the staff a couple of times regarding faults with new updates on the app, they have always got back to me amazingly fast, been really helpful and been so polite. The faults have been minimal and are to be expected with a new app under going improvements.
I am yet to sell but I will certainly be doing so when I have any vouchers that I can not use.
